i just got LO. When someone has an abc link to my site, how do i put that in the text fields? I like to sort the links coming in to my site and not the link where i am linking to... hard to explain, example:

Trading with lets say Jon.
Jons site A (pr3) links to > My site B (pr3) links to > Jons site C (pr0)

So which one do i put in the 'trade url'? It looks like the form is made so that i have to put the site I am linking to (C) in the 'trade url' box.. but that's not an important link, i want the pr of A to be recorded, so that i can see the sites linking to me and their pr's.

Also i dont see an ABCD link trade option in the form while it says it is in the software on the sale page....

let me know, thanks

I know this is very confusing when I started with LO too. I put this in my 'rules' to help people out:

How to fill out form for AB,ABC,and ABCD link trades:

A <=> B
Click 'Trade with this site' box for MY site A and enter YOUR site B in 'Trade URL'.

A => B => C
Click 'Trade with this site' box for MY site A and enter YOUR site B in 'Trade URL'. Enter MY site C url in 'A-B-C Recip'.

A => B for C => D
Click 'Trade with this site' box for MY site A and enter YOUR site B in 'Trade URL'. Enter YOUR site C in 'Recip URL' and MY site D url in 'A-B-C Recip'.

Yea i understand, that is when I am the one with 2 sites and the trader is the one with 1 site for the ABC, but please read my first post carefully:

YOUR A -> MY B -> YOUR C

How do i set this up? I want YOUR A in the 'Trade URL' field, because when i look at my trade list I want to see the domains linking to me in there. So i am not gonna put YOUR C in the 'Trade URL' field, because that one isnt linking to me so its not as important to see that PR and domain info in the trade list as the YOUR A site.

And another thing, i assume the 'trade anchor' field is the anchor of MY site where they have to link to? For the link checker to check if my link, with the right anchor, is still on their page?

Thanks in advance.

If you want YOUR A -> MY B -> YOUR C I believe it is set up like so:

Click 'Trade with this site' box for MY site B and enter YOUR site C in 'Trade URL'. Enter YOUR site A url in 'Recip URL'.

As for the trade list you'll have to ask the script owner about it, I agree we should be able to organize it better and with different views (who we link to, who is linking to us).

Trade Anchor is for their site that is in the Trade URL field.

Thanks for the quick response, gonna try it later tonight
and a view where you can sort them by sites linking to my sites would indeed be perfect, i was always working with excel sheets for my hardlink managing and that is how i sorted the lists: Start with the site linking to me + its PR + the anchor they have to use for the link to me, and then all the other info (if its and ab, abc or abcd trade, and with which sites, etc.)

Because the sites linking to my site is the most important information, much more important than the site i have to link to.

Well, its definately not perfect, for a total overview of how i want to see the trades sorted (by all links who are linking to me) i will have to keep using my excel sheet... im kinda dissapointed, then again I cant expect a non-custom script to have all my specific needs.

One more question to Atanasis, ive seen in other threads you are working on an upgrade. Are you open to suggestions? Maybe you could open a suggestion thread for ideas for the new version?
