This tutorial is aimed to explain you the script idea and basics and to help you get started using it. You can use this tutorial as step by step tutorial to get started with the software as you just downloaded it.

1) Blogs Automater is server based script, and it can run only on web server, not on your local pc. For this reason you need to install it on any of your sites.

2) Make sure the server where you will install the script meets the script requirements. To find them look at this thread:
http://support.cheapestwebsoftware.com/viewtopic.php?t=401

3) Install and setup the script following the step by step guide available at:
http://support.cheapestwebsoftware.com/viewtopic.php?t=402

4) After successful install, login to the administration area and make sure everythinig is ready to go, by following this thread:
http://support.cheapestwebsoftware.com/viewtopic.php?t=403

5) Spend some minutes reading what exactly does each section of the script, so you get general idea for the script features. Just go and do a look through all the threads starting with Admin Panel ->.... at the documentation forum at:
http://support.cheapestwebsoftware.com/viewforum.php?f=12

6) Now its time to get started using the script for real. To do that lets explain you the idea of the script. You load the script with feeds that contain blog post entries. Script crawls those feeds regularly and saves the extracted blog post entries in a database. You are able any time to review these entries and modify/delete any of them. You add to the script your blogs to which you want to automate posts publishing. Then you create a campaign in which you tell the script to which blog it should publish posts and select with great flexibility what entries to pick from the database and publish them as posts to your blogs. You can automatically insert custom headers/footers to the posts, make certain words underlined, other bold, replace keywords, make certain words links and etc.. So basically script maintains a database of blog posts entries read automatically from feeds and publishes those entries to your blogs the way you tell it to do so.

7) The first things to do when getting started using the script is to add "Sponsors" and "Categories" to the system, if you will be keeping your feeds categorized and easy to browser and manipulate. Otherwise ignore this and just use the defaults and proceede to next step.

Cool Go and add some feeds from the Feeds->Add New section of the script. Just paste their urls in the big text area you see there, assign them to a sponsor and category if you would like to, click the "Crawl feeds now" check box, and hit the "Add" button. And there you go, you have added your feeds and script has extracted some blog post entries from them.

9) Now is the time to add a blog of yours to which you want to publish those blog entries. For that reason go to Blogs->Add New, choose your blog type from the left list, and fill in the details needed in right, and hit "Add" button. Script verifies the info by connecting to the blog, and if all okay, it will scan for the available blogs with the infos you provided and will display you a list with them. Select the checkboxes on the left next to each blog you want to add to the system and hit "Add". And there you go, you have added your blog(s) to the system.

10) Now is the time to start publishing you entries to the blog. Go to Campaigns->Create New. In the form give the campaign some name so you can easily recognize it, in Update Interval choose how frequent you want the script publish new post to the blog. For now we will skip the settings in section Entries & Feeds Sources of that page, just make sure the "All Feeds" is selected and continue down the page to the Blog Settings section of the page. From the dropdown list there, choose the blog to which you want the campaign publish posts to. And once you do that, continue directly to the bottom of the page and click on the "Add" button. We skipped all the rest options, because you are just getting used with the script and don't want to get into complicate things from the beggining. To learn what exactly are the rest options for and learn to use them, take a good read at:
http://support.cheapestwebsoftware.com/viewtopic.php?t=414

11) So everything is done so far. Go to Campaigns->Search and see if the script has executed the campaign automatically already. It does check if there are campaigns for execution on every 5 minutes, as the cronjob is set to run in that interval. If you wish you can run the campaign manually so it will publish a post immediately. After that check your blog and see the new post appearing on it.

12) Generally, thats the basic usage of the whole script. The most important and probably the most advanced section of the script is the Campaigns settings. So just spend some time reading what the exact features do and experiment and give yourself a try on test blogs with different campaigns settings to learn to use the script to its full power!
