I'm getting a white/blank page after entering the db info. The index.php file returns a fatal error every time. I uploaded in Binary with FlashFXP ftp client.
I want to get this running ASAP but I can't get past the install page.
tech support at my host said this..
Mysql is actually 4.0.24, but the client libraries for php hadn't been updated. Unfortunately, this does not seem to have corrected the problem. The script isn't giving any sort of error in the apache log and the index.php error after the installation bugs out with the blank page isn't something I'm familiar with. So at this point I don't really have much to suggest, I can confirm that this script should work with our hosting though, as many of our customers run it. There are always a number of issues in getting it to work properly, but I've never seen this issue with the actual installer before. I'd have to suggest talking to their support team again and see if they have any ideas now that we know it's not the client libraries or binary upload.

hey there, i see the problem and its with the incorrect upload in BINARY. I had couple of use flashxp and had same problem. Its messing up something with its binary uploads.. When they reuploaded with another client like cuteftp it worked from the first time.. If you don't want want to struggle anymore by yourself, pm me ftp access and i will upload correctly for you..

Stupid ftp clients... jeez
