I have added 3 rss feeds at RSS Feeders > Add
Then I have selected all 3 at Blogs > Manage Blogs
Finally, once saved my settings, I have clicked on Regenerate, but the results from the 3 feeds are not showing up on my blog page...
I don't know if my cron jobs are working fine either. Here are the latest results:
2007-03-08 23:17:01 BO RSS Feeder executed

Another small question: what is exactly the difference between 'basic' and 'advanced' RSS Feeds Style? I am not sure which of both to select... |

hi there, well your cronjobs looks fine. When you selected the feeds to be read for a specified blog did you set a proper crawl time and number of posts to be included from the feeds. Also take a note this process of populating your blogs from rss feeds is totally managed by one of the cronjobs, and "regenerate" from the admin panel won't force the reader..
as about the "basic" and "advanced" rss feeds in the blog settings, that refers to the style of the rss feed, basic displays partial content of your post body, while advance displays full content..
if you can't get the rss populating of your blogs working, you might want to pm me url and pass to your BO admin, so i can look on the things.. _________________ Thanks,

Well, I just woke up and found out that my blog had been populated with a lot of new posts. So, that seems to be ok then.
My mistake was that I thought that the 'regenerate' link would trigger this process. So, is there no way at all to instantly generate posts right after adding a new rss feed?
Also a big thanks for informaing me that my cron jobs look fine and explaining me the difference between basic and advanced rss style feeds |

Just to remove any doubts I have: Is there no way at all to instantly generate posts right after adding a new rss feed? |

there is, once you are at the "Feeds" section, just click on "Update" button next to the feed you would like to generate a post to.. _________________ Thanks,
