Hi Kaktusan,
I noticed on my blogs that when I go to myblog.com/pages-2 the 'Previous Page' link points to myblog.com/pages-1 and not to the index page. This means that mybog.com/ and myblog.com/pages-1 are duplicate pages which I believe is not so good for SEO etc. Is there a way to have the 'Previous Page' link on myblog.com/pages-2 point back to the index page instead?

OK, thanks for the quick reply. For now I might try adding a 301 redirect in .htaccess from /pages-1 to /
