Some of the feeds I am pulling have custom php codes in them that I need to remove because they are breaking wordpress on my end so I tried to have BA do a search for <? and replace it with <!-- and then search for ?> and replace it with '-->' however this causes a big mess in the finished post as the entire thing ends up looking like this:

Clearly I understand why this is happening, just not sure if it is like this because no one's encountered this before or because there is no way around it. Either way, thought I would let you know |

hmm, a big mess indeed..
well, i haven't designed the script to deal with php inside posts and probably thats why it has such problems. Could be and with these chars you are entering.. I will see for next version if this could be made to work

| Cool! yea I didn't know if it was even possible to fix this or if you hadn't seen it before because php can be finicky sometimes. I ended up finding a fantastic Auto Search and replace filter : http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-filter/ that fixes it as it is being submitted. Just another plugin I need which is more overhead on my WP install so it's going to be nice when BA can do it. |
