I was thinking that the way to change the order of posts is simply to change the entry date associated with them but that does not seem to be doing anything. Is there a trick to doing this?
I have three posts: A, B and C. I created them in that order on the same day so on my blog they are showing up with C at the top, B in the middle and A on the bottom. I want A to be in the middle so I changed the entry time, checked the resubmit option and rebuilt the blog but the posts are still being displayed in the same order.
I guess I could delete the three posts and re-enter them in the order I want but it seems like changing the date should do this (it works this way in Wordpress)... but its not. |

there's no way to change the posts order by editing the date of already published posts. As it says on the page there, editing the post date affects the resubmission date if posts are set to resubmit..
the only way to reorder the posts is to delete and re-add them..

| OK, thanks for the response. I'll keep this in mind when adding posts. It might be a nice feature to add in a future release since as I said, Wordpress lets you manipulate post order by changing the date. |
