Hi, I have noticed on the BA system summary page, that the Crawler is not running for some reason. However, I set the Crawler cron job up the same way as the Poster...and the Poster is working with no problems.

Also, even when I manually go to the bacrawl.php file in my browser, for exampe: http://mysite.com/ba/bacrawl.php it still shows it didn't run.

If I go to http://mysite.com/ba/bapost.php the Poster runs just fine.

Any idea what could be causing the Crawler to not run like this?

I downloaded the latest upgrade package and re-uploaded bacrawl.php in binary mode. But unfortunately, I'm getting the same results.

One other thing I noticed is, I'm able to manually force a feed crawl by going to "Feeds>> Search" and clicking the button to "Crawl Feed for new Items". For example: http://mysite.com/ba/index.php?crawlfeed=187&nogz=1

This indeed crawls the single feed and retrieves new items. But running http://mysite.com/ba/bacrawl.php does nothing.

Thank you Kaktusan (Atanasis) for quickly diagnosing the problem. I wanted to post the resolution here in case anyone makes the same foolish mistake as me.

He noticed that in "Settings > Configure" I had "Crawl Feeds every X hours" set to 0, which will be never. That's why it wouldn't crawl. Thanks again for the help in finding my mistake...and for creating a top notch script. Very Happy
