Another suggestion, a find and replace option would be outstanding. If there's something you need to replace in 100+ posts as it is now you got to do it 1 by 1. |

This can easily be accomplished in the database by using phpmyadmin |

I thought about that. But then I figured if I mess something up my whole database is gone. It would be much better if it was built into the script with different filters and options rather than risking taking down the database. |

I would love to have the "Newly crawled Entries are set as reviewed/pending" set on a per-feed basis instead of just having one global setting.
There is absolutely no reason for me to re-review all of my own hand written feeds but I still like to review sponsor feeds before posting them to my blogs. |

I dont know if this have been requested before, but all my entries are set to be reviewed before being posted.
I would like to have this process streamlined, because it takes me a long time to review every entry individually.
My suggestion would be to have a page with 10/20/30 entries to be reviewed with the thumbnails of the entries and the description and checkboxes that allow you to review more of one entry at a time.
IS this possible? |

yes, it can be done, but is not good.
if you have just a thumb and small description, for you will work. But for rest that have like 3-4 big images in a post and big text, the page will get really big and there are lots of possibilities for mistakes and messing up your posts.. _________________ Thanks,

This is a request that will save me a lot of frustration.
I have my Blog Automator managing several niches. Each niche has several headers and footers that I can only use in those niches.
Currently I can not categorize headers and footers, so they all show up in a huge list when selecting Templates>Headers or Templates>Footers.
Also, when creating a campaign and selecting the "Custom Header" to be used, the list is huge and difficult to manage
IS it possible to allow categories for footers and headers? |

I am thinking in growing the number of blogs in my network.
One concern I have is that my Hosting company eventually will shut me down.
I know that reading feeds is the most bandwidth consuming task of Automator.
I also know that Search Engines and readers of my blogs love fresh content
So, I was thinking...
Once a feed reaches a certain number of items posted (100 for example) wouldnt be nice to stop crawling that feed and start reciclyng posts?
Add to that the possibility of spinning the content of the headers and footers and you will have a trully perpetual traffic machine!
What do you think? |

i stopped all my rss feeds once i reached 30k of posts in db. I don't need more posts, even these are too much.. I simply rotate and rotate them...
so, yes, once you feel you have good number of posts you can disable the rss feeds.. _________________ Thanks,

Ho do you rotate posts? , All my blogs are in Blogger.com and Blogger does not have a rotation feature.
Does Automater does it for you? How? Did I miss this feature?

One question:
How do you know when the posts in the database reached 30Kb? |

most of my blogs are Blogs Organizer's ones, so it rotates them.
Also I have BA campaigns pick posts at random, so that's kinda like rotation itself..
my database is not 30kb, it is 30K=30 000 posts count _________________ Thanks,

Atanasis:
Lets say that I have a campaign set up that already posted 100 posts.
So, The campaign shows something like this.
Entries: 100/0
(100 posts posted, no new posts)
If I stop crawling the feed, will Automater continue reposting randomly from the 100 posts, even if those posts were already posted?
Is that the way it works? |

no, the campaign won't post anymore since there are no new entries for it, since it posted all the 100 available already.
If you want that BA campaign to continue publishing posts, you can reset the campaign so it starts again publishing those 100 posts. You can do that by clicking the reset button next to the campaign in the campaigns list.. _________________ Thanks,

Atanasis, antother feature I would love to see is the following...
I already have 300 plus blogs using Blogger. Each account in Blogger holds 30 Blogs.
When Using Automater
Blogs>Search
I get the complete lists of the 300 plus blogs.
It would be very nice if you could add a dropdown menu that would let you select which account you want to see, so instead of having the 300 blogs listed I acould only select the 30 of each gmail account
I hope I explained myself

My suggestion of the day for Automater
I would like the possibility of sorting in ascending/descending ways every table of Automater by clicking on the titles
Example:
When Clicking on Campaigns>Search, a table with the following titles appear
Campaign Name Last Execution Next Execution Update Interval Entries
Wouldnt be nice to click on "Entries" to sort the table on ascending/descending way? |
