Hello there,
in BO admin I moved some blogs from one category to an other but after the move all link trades (%%LINKTRADES,0%%) from these blogs disappeared from the front sites and from "Manage Link Trades" in BO admin.
I rebuild the blogs and uploaded the blog files again, nothing helps.

hmm, that sounds like an issue with pretty old version of BO had. What version you are on?

Hmm, I have just tested it and all worked fine here. I moved a blog from one category to other and all linktrades remained fine..
You sure that when you are at "Linktrades->Manage" and click on manage by All Categories or by specific blog you don't get a list with your trades?

Yes, I am shure the trades are not in the list. Blogs i setup new don't have this problem after I moved them, only old blogs wich i setup in a older BO version lost the links.

thats even stranger.. as long as i remember the problem as only in one .php file where i have forgotten to put a code to move the linktrades to the new category. That was the whole problem. So, when with same files it works for you for some blogs and for others not..
Look in phpmyadmin in "bolinktrades" table if the trades are still in the db..
otherwise only solution i am seeing is readding them by hand..

there are a lot of linktrades in this tabel, I don't want to search now for each single link. I will readd by hand, what can I do!?

pm me phpmyadmin access, your BO url and pass and a list of the blogs for which the linktrades disappeared. I will go see if trades are still in db and if they can be easily recovered..

Atanasis. don't worry. I can add the trades for these 5 blogs by hand.
But I found the bug!
I changed the blog category and enabled the category trades at the same time, this killed the links. When I do it in two steps everything workes fine.

i see.. well changing a blog category is a "big step" because everything in BO is tied to the categories.. so changing that and other settings that directly are tied to it at once, could lead into such a problem..
i will see if this could be fixed though..

I don't found a backup of the missing link trades so I looked in the database table bolinktrades as you recommended and it looks like all the links are still there.
Now is the question how to recover them. I would readd them by hand but I could not find any reference in the table, wich link trade belongs to wich blog in the same category.
Is there a way to find out?

in "bolinktrades" the ID of the trade goes into another table "bolinktraders" where you will see fields trade_id, blog_id, category

yep ok, now i see. thank you.
there are much more link trades disappeared then i thought before.
just that you know for the next BO upgrade:
some of the trades are even diasppeared out of the database. i can see them in bolinktraders but they are not in the bolinktrades table anymore.
