Upgraded BO to version 3.3 and BA to v1.3
BO General Settings>>Remote Administration Services (API) enabled and user/password added
In BA selected Blogs>>Add New then selected Blog Type>>Blogs Organizer
This displays the text fields to add the blog user name and password, BUT NOT the fields to add the BLOG Organizer API URL. (It does display the field if the Blog Type is set to WP and WPMU).
Then added the BO blogs to BA with blog type set to WP. BA now displays the BO built blogs under Blogs>>Blog Types as Wordpress Blog with my user name and 62 blogs (which matches the number of blogs I've built with BO).
Then tried to add my first BA campaign to a BO generated blog. Clicking the ADD button returned:
Query to MySQL Failed: Column count doesn't match value count at row 1
Both the BO and BA scripts are installed on the same domain, the target BO blog is on the same server, and I've updated the root .htaccess file in the target BO blog domain from the BO example generated by BO Regular Blogs>>Linking Codes for the target domain.
Also manually executed a previously configured campaign for a WP blog, BA returned:
Campaign Execution in process...SELECT fe.id,fe.title,fe.content,fe.link,ff.id as lastefid from baentries fe inner join bafeeds ff on fe.fid=ff.id inner join basponsors fs on ff.spid=fs.id inner join bacats fc on ff.catid=fc.id where ff.status=1 and fs.status=1 and fc.status=1 and ff.id in(1) and fe.id not in(2,3,6,275,285,318,340,350,1341,1840,1900,1905) order by RAND() limit 1Found new entry........Post Published..FINISHED!
Clicking through to visit the WP blog, and the BA post looked OK (as expected).
LMK if I need to resend the BO/BA passwords for you to take a look.

hi there, looks like i forgot to disable the mysql debugging in BA.
Please download the BA upgrade package again, upload the files. Don't forget the binary mode upload, and don't forget to run the ba-upgrade.php file
then when, you login to BA admin, and when you go to "Add Blog" screen, hit CTRL and refresh.. probably your browser have cached the javascript there and thats why your BO API url doesn't show up..
Do this, and let me know if problems again..sorry for inconvenience

NP. OK, reinstalled a new copy of the 1.3 upgrade, and now the Blog API URL text field displays when Blogs Organizer is selected as Blog Type in Blogs>>Add New Blog.
Deleted and reinstalled the BO sites as Blogs Organizer, and the BA display now shows Blogs Organizer as Type (URL to the API displays on mouseover). Username and # Blogs is correct.
Set up a new campaign in BA (different BO blog, also updated the new target blog's .htaccess) and retried the create a campaign, but got the same MySQL error -
Query to MySQL Failed: Column count doesn't match value count at row 1
Also tried a different browser to eliminate any browser caching issues, but same MySQL error.

Hi
I LOVE being able to post using the API. It's so much easier. I use Blog Desk for this. However, I cannot upload a post for publishing at a later date. I uncheck 'Publish after Upload' and then change the date and time (for a future date/time), yet the post is still published immediately. Is this just a problem with Blog Desk, do you know?
I couldn't manage to get any other remote blogging program to work at all.
I understand that the remote API function is still under development and would love to be able to fully use it not only to publish at a later date but to 'get posts', 'edit posts' etc as can be done with WP blogs.
Will you be working on this any more? I appreciate how busy you must be with everyone's 'wish lists'!

yes, the remote API is still pretty much experimental and in baby form. it currently supports pretty few features.
Currently, yes the posts are published immediately, no way to schedule them. I will be expanding to that soon. About the get posts and edit posts, probably will take more time, since the first concern about making the remote api, is to provide people to be able to post to the blogs, then will be expanding to rest features where possible

| I just wanted to let anyone who uses Windows Live Writer know that you should use the "metaWeblog" setting when adding a BO blog. Do not use any of the WordPress settings. I did this and was unable to get BO categories to show up. But with metaWeblog the categories show up fine. |

Has anyone managed to find a program that enables you to succesfully schedule posts for future dates?
I have spent two days trying out many programs. Every one that is compatible with BO and which, technically, allows you to set the date for the futre just publishes the post immediately!
I have been looking for something that works for about 2 years as this would enable an incredible increase in my production of blog posts. Any advice would be very gratefully received.

I downloaded and tried wBloggar today. After hours of research I managed to configure it to work. However I then discovered that it doesn't seem to have a WYSIWYG interface, which I need. Sorry, didn't think about that when I asked the original question. It also wouldn't upload images with any success. However, wBloggar did allow me to post-date successfully.
Like I said, I have tried numerous programs. BlogDesk is great and Blog Jet almost as good - they both do exactly what I need apart from post-dating blogposts. You can set a date and time in the future, but BO posts them immediately regardless.
Is there a simple fix I could make to get BO to accept posts for future publishing correctly from BlogDesk, as it does in wBloggar?

are you on latest v3.5 of the script?
Since that version posts scheduling works fine. As long as i remember i have tested that with wbloggar and blogdesk when i was creating that update..
