I know this used to be a problem with earlier versions of WP, so wondering about BO.
If I make a post today and schedule it to show up in a few weeks time, does it ping the ping sites today for it? or will it only get pinged at the time of actual publication on the blog? |

BO always pings when the post is being published to the blog, not when you add it to the database
