Hi,
I have jsut bought LO and installed it to my hostgator hosting account. I transfered all my exsisting links on this great soft, but now I see some problems I have.
Firstly, I can't calculate PR for any domain. Everytime I get "Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /lo/index.php on this server."
Secondly, I can't trade links between my own websites. In Site->Search->Edit, I am checking: "Automatically list the following sites:" and choosing several my own websites from the list, but after updating this edit, I can't find these links active on a site. What is the problem?
Another small problem is that I can't preview my template output and I am getting the error: "Internal Server Error", but links are showing on sites ok.

hi there,
there are certain issues with hostgator my clients face.
1. Go and chmod the "site_templates" folder to 755, and in "Settings->Configure" in LO put 666 as file permissions and go rebuild the templates for your sites. That should fix the templates issue.
2. Once you auto link your sites, you need to rebuild the templates for the links to appear, or simply wait them to rebuild by themselves.
3. Ask your host support to disable apache security module which doesn't allow url to exist in the url query, or simply whiltelist your domain. That will fix the PR issue..

1. I changed site_templates chmod to 755 from 777, and Settings->Configure was as you told -> 666 (did nothing), but this problem sitll exist.
2. Thanks, didint know that. Working fine.
3. Hostgator support helped get domain in whitelist, working fine! Thanks! |

oh, sorry, in settings->configure, change the permissions to 644 and rebuild templates again.

Great script, but now I see a minus for it. I can't have several reciprocal links from same site, linking to my several different sites.
For example I trade links and it want to link from site A to my sites B and C (I am talking about two different trades). I add A->B succesffuly, but when I am creating second trade A->C I get errot that link already is in the system.
Also, I have one future request. maybe it would be great to have special reciprocal links that we check daily? I am talking about new section where I would be adding my reciprical links I have bought, not trades. It's very usuafull when you are buying lots of backlinks and lots of them are disapearing too early.. Just an idea  |

Hm.. I am trying to do A>B>C>D trade, but B site is already in the system and I can't enter it again.. But, C>D trade is different, so why I can't do this?
In site A there is not such link I am trying to add. Just B link is in the system because I have trade with it with my other site.
Please advice. Is this normal, or a bug? Can we expect a fix on that? |

enable "settings->configure" option "allow duplicates". That will let you add as many trades from same reciprocal as you want.
