| I placed %%META_MONTHLY_ARCHIVES%% and the links show up but it goes to 404 page even after rebuilding blog, will it only work for posts after the upgrade date |

| you need to go back in and ftp your linking codes for that blog into your server, the linking codes have changed with the new version |

if you want to use tagclouds or monthly archives on the blogs, yes you need to do that, since these are new rewrites and the blog linking files need to be updated..
