| My remote blog posts are all crazy looking. The images don't show up, instead its just bad html code. There was another post about remote blogs where the suggestion was to disable magic quotes, but I couldnt see what his problem was since it was already fixed. I have tried disabling magic quotes with .htaccess to see if it was the fix for my problem but I get 500 errors on some sites then. Any suggestions? |

well, if the posts look like source, the magic_quotes is the problem. The new verions of php have something changed in how xmlrpc works and the turned on magic_quotes are causing the issues. So, they need to be disabled during php compilation time. With htaccess it won't work..

| I put in a request with my host yesterday for them to disable magic quotes, should be changed soon. Thanks. |

| I had magic quotes disabled through php.ini but still no luck with BO. Is there anything else that could cause a similar problem? |

did you get new posts being published to the blogs? If it works, it will work fine for newly published posts, the old ones won't get fixed..

Yes I deleted all the old ones and have tried several times with new posts just adding a title and a random photo and text but it looks like this:

yes, then the problem still exists. Just disabling the magic_quotes didn't work. They need to be disabled from start and recompile php with having them disabled

i see.. yeah i have found that myself when i first time encountered the problem, but disabling magic_quotes at compilation time fixed the problem.. So i thought thats the fix.

So, basically how you fixed it? Upgraded php to another version or something else?
