Hi
I tried making a test blog, with a post, but all I get when I click the link is my site index page which is set to come up by my .htaccess in my root directory.
Also I've listed some remote blogs and made a post to one.
I got the "added successfully" message but the post didn't show.
In case this info helps, when I added my cronjobs to the Protgp crontab editor I got a message saying:
"We were unable to proces your crontab data. One of your cron entries is set to run too frequently.
You may only run a process (at most) once every five minutes."
So I set the three cronjobs that are supposed to run every minute to run every five minutes! |

hi there,
well when you setup a new blog, you need to grab some linking code files from BO and put them at the place where you specified the blog will appear. Did you do that?
About the cronjobs, on 5 mins they should be fine too, but just when doing post schedules take in mind that they will be posted with accuracy to 5 mins.
About the posting to remote blog. Since thet procedure there to do a new post is complicated, I have made the script to take your post and say to you its added, and the cronjob which is for the remote posting to handle it on background, so you don't have to wait for that to execute in your browser..

Yep, I tried uploading the files again, and the blog still goes to my site index page even when I type "index.php" into the browser after the blog folder address. The remote post never appeared on the remote blog.

hey there,
I found the problem. The .htaccess file was causing the problem. You have set your "Posts Link Name" setting of your blog with a space, which isn't allowed and is causing the mod rewrite of the htaccess cause that problems. I fixed your stuff, and your blog is now fine. Keep in mind this for the future.

Sorry I haven't been able to get back sooner, but my remote blogs are not updating. I've tried a Thumblogger and one wordpress. The Blogsorganiser blog is working ok. Any ideas?

Can you check in your "General Setting->System Events" when last the "BO Remote Updater" has run. If the date is kinda old, please go by ftp to "bo/boblogs/botemp" directory and delete any files inside that dir. If everything so far is fine, probably something else is causing problems and let me know..
