Hi Atanasis,
i created a few weeks ago my first regular blog with BO. But now this blog get not updated anymore since 2 weeks after only 7 posts.
I looked General Settings >>System Events and every thing looks fine
Date Event
2008-09-20 04:52:02 Updater executed
2008-09-20 04:52:02 RSS Feeder executed
2008-09-20 04:52:02 Remote Updater executed
I use about 20 different feeds for this blog so that there should be enough fresh content to post.
I have the same problem for a remote blog too. It stops also working on the same day like the regular blog.
I changed some feeds and tried to force an update by set the crawl periode to 1 minute, but still no updates of these blogs.
So what could be the problem and what can i do?

hm, cronjobs seems to work fine, so there must be somewhere else an issue which i can't identify immediately.
PM me please url and pass to your BO admin so i can take a look and find the problem.

all is fine now. I just increased the value of "General Settings->Exec Limits" since i see you have good number of remote blogs and with just 2 exec limits the regular blog never made to the top to be updated.

Thanks, now the regular and the remote blog is working fine.
Is there a maximum to which i can set up the Exec Limits? |

Looks like i'm having the same problem with one of my BO license
Systems:
2008-10-04 18:49:03 Remote Updater executed
2008-10-04 18:49:02 Updater executed
2008-10-04 18:49:02 RSS Feeder executed
2008-10-04 00:00:02 Link Checker executed
and some blogs on a certain category stopped working.
I increased the limit to 3 for on this license/site (maybe it's not enough ?) for "Execution Limits"
I tried with feeds that i'm 100% sure they are working, made a one minute update to make sure it crawls the feed (waited 3 minutes to make sure before checking out) and it didn't work out.
To be honest, it was using a GS feed so i tried with a feed from a sponsor which i know works out well.
What worked is, a test post manually made from myself.
Where should i troubleshoot now ?

well, give it some time. Your BO was 2 days off, and it needs time to catch up with the work when there are lots of blogs..

Still no update on certain categories.
Others do get updated tho.
Execute limit set to 5 for the BO license i am talking about.
It's a dedicated server by the way.
How much blogs do you think it can handle ?
What's the number that you think it's much before setting up another BO license ?
I got other stuff running on this box of course (tgp sites,galleries etc..)
1 gig/ram
