1) i want to avoid SE´s accessing the public signup form.
how can i do that?
i dont want to use noindex.
can i password protect the lo folder with htaccess, or will this mess up the script?
2) for a couple of weeks now the script cant verify recipes on thumblogger.
link checker message: Site Returned HTTP Code:503
i have a lot of trades with thumblogger domains and i assume thumblogger blocks an ip after it crawls a certain amount of sites.
how can i avoid that?
is it possible to configure the link checker to access only 10 thumblogger sites per hour?
thx |

thx Atanasis for the quick reply,
i think i was not clear enough on my first point.
i want the combined signup form enabled for trade partners. I just dont want google or yahoo accessing it.
i was thinking i could password protect the directory with htaccess and give my partners a username and password, so that they could access the public signup form and add new trades.
will the use of .htaccess mess with the script?
is there another way to do that? |

ah i see. well for now there's no way easily to block SEs out of it. putting password protection on the LO folder will cause the whole script to stop working.
for the new version i will be preparing soon, i am thinking of a way to make that possible with some kind java code or something.. _________________ Thanks,
