Hello,

I don't know if it's because I don't have many trades going on presently but it seems that Link Checker doesn't run every 3 days as set in the admin. I installed the script on 08/09 and it ran the first time on 08/21. Since, it hasn't run again. And that's been a week! What might be the problem? Is it because I don't have many trades?

see if the cronjob is still in place and working fine. Also see if the cronjob didn't get stuck on last start - see for file /lo/site_templates/linkchecker.txt
if present, delete that file and wait an hour and see if the cronjob will run..

I have asked my host and even check it myself. The cronjob is still there and working. Here's what it's like:

0 * * * * /usr/bin/php /home/exquisit/public_html/pimpinangelz/trade/links/locron.php >> /dev/null

I also went to the folder "site_templates" but I didn't see any "linkchecker.txt". I only see "site_1_1.php" and "site_1_1.txt", up to four since there are four sites for trade.

then all looks fine, but something is still not okay when the linkchecker hasn't run..

can you ask your host support to execute on the command line this:
/usr/bin/php /home/exquisit/public_html/pimpinangelz/trade/links/locron.php

wait to finish and if there are any errors displayed to pass them out..

I suppose then that it's because of the cronjob not working properly that the linkchecker doesn't run every three days as I had set it in the admin panel?

yes, the cronjob is set to run each hour. It is checking if its needs to run the linkchecker or not. So, when your host support run the cronjob on the command line and all finished fine, then all works fine, just it seems that the cronjob doesn't get autoexecuted and from the there the linkchecker too

Hmm... okay, thanks Kaktusan! Guess I'll have to wait whenever it wants to run then. That pretty much sucks! Confused

hm, no, it should run every 3 days as your settings are, but the deal is that i am not sure your cronjob runs fine automatically.

pm me url and pass to your LO admin and cpanel or hosting panel details so i can go and see whats up

Ok, no problem! Just a heads up, I don't know if it has anything to do with changes you made or not but the Linkchecker has run.

Oops! No. I didn't see it.

Anyway, I sent my hosting support an email and I'm waiting for their response.
