When I try to look at the feed output from my blogs e.g.
http://www.mydomain.com/rss-feed.php
IE 7 tells me:
| Quote: | Internet Explorer cannot display this feed
This feed contains code errors.
Go back to the previous page. |
However the feed shows perfectly in Firefox.
Any idea what's going on? |

yep, that regularly appears on any kind of feeds. it is because of a weird non utf8 character exists somewhere in the feed and causes IE to display such error. Otherwise, yes FF, doesn't have such problems with encodings..

That was quick!
I guess it's a case of tracking down and deleting the offending character then. Thanks for the advice  |

yeah, thats the only fix solution..
BO has a function to fix certain common bad chars and i am always extending the list, but always new and new ones appear..
