Im importing Feed URL:

http://galleries.blacksonboys.com/feed/?num=10&cat=&template=1&date_order=future&autodate=&link_url=http://join.blacksonboys.com/track/MTQ2MjU6Mjo1/

I view it in IE 7.0.6 and it renders fine.

I import into my WPmu blog and it is broken link below the last set of pics. This happens on all 97 feeds.

here is an example:

http://blacksonboys.adultblogspace.com/2008/06/11/blacksonboys-vids-blacksonboys-sky-smith/

If i view the html it will show this:
"Visit &lt;a href" instead of the expected "Visit <a(sp)href...>"

So this is happening during the post to the blog somehow, mistranslation to the less than operator.

Please advise me on this as i had to delete all 97 entries, re crawled and reposted 3 times with the same results.

BUT if i manually "Blog Now" then it seem NOT to happen.

see ---> http://blacksonboys.adultblogspace.com/2008/06/11/blacksonboys-sky-smith/

Now i dont know what is wrong...

both the automated and manual posting are using same code to process the data. Surely this is not BA problem, since such a problem has never been reported if links were going broken. Check your WPMU and see if the "fix nested html..." is turned off..that was regularly causing problems with remote blogging

where would i find a "fix nested html" setting in my MU? I checked FORMATTING.php in wp_includes folder and found following code:

function wp_specialchars( $text, $quotes = 0 ) {
// Like htmlspecialchars except don't double-encode HTML entities
$text = str_replace('&&', '&&', $text);
$text = str_replace('&&', '&&', $text);
$text = preg_replace('/&(?:$|([^#])(?![a-z1-4]{1,8}Wink)/',
'&$1', $text);
$text = str_replace('<', '&lt;', $text);
$text = str_replace('>', '&gt;', $text);

The only reference to &lt, but removing this had little effect.
I also notice there is no <center> tag for the offending line in the original feed, but it seems to appeawr just before the offending line inside the blog.

I dont understand how can this be? ...unless processing is different from posting/exporting the data.

Please advise on the first q? Thanks much.

WP -> Options -> Writing -> "WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically"

that option is regularly causing lots of problems and it should be turned off.

Understand that BA is not touching anything inside the post it is just intermediary script that reads the feed, extracts posts and post them as they are. The only case when it touches the content is if you applied some rewriters or something in the campaign settings.

When you say center tag is being added, then for sure your WP is touching the post and not BA. If you wish you can try it on some other WP install if you have and see all will work fine.

i deleted all feeds & entries and re imported the feed again.....and ran it against a brand new test blog and it seem to work now. No broken link

Now i will delete the blog and recreate it. hope it will be the same.

-----edit-------------------------------

This is finished. Seems to be working.

I do not like not knowing what went wrong but it seems to work now.

Thanks for your help.
