Hi,
I run BO (about 200 blogs and 4k posts) and since a few weeks I get more and more timeouts using the BO backend and also blank blog pages.
Sometimes it tooks more than 30 seconds to load a backend or frontend page 
I admit using a small virtual hosting account with webair, but never had a problem in the past.
Webair support wrote me that my server runs smoothly 
Could this be a mysql problem caused by the number of blogs or should I move to a faster server? |

hm, definitely it looks like a server resources issue, but i don't see any problem with the 200 blogs and 4k posts. I and lots of my clients have tens more than you and their servers are almost free.
Could be something else..
best would be if you can pm me url and pass to your BO admin and phpmyadmin access and ftp access so i can do some tests and see whats up

Maybe it's a problem that I use RSS feeds for postings on about 120 blogs? Feeds update time is set to 1440 - 2880 mins.

They moved my database to an other server and now BO runs smoothly
