Hey kaktus

Is there a way to change the timestamps of existing postings to the future, because i have tried it but it doesnt fly.

The problem is i have a lot a galleries that have embedded video's or pictures on HTML pages making GS useless, i i have a blogposter installed on my PC only the the timestamp doesnt work on BO, so the postings that need to be going out in the future get live directly.

I have tried to set the timestamp into the future (31 May to be exactly) like you can do with WP, but the post is still showing up. i have tried everything like rebuilding and mass rebuilding the blogs but cant seem to change the date, is there a way to change that.

I know i can post with BO but i dont really like the WYSIWYG editor specially how it handles images en i have a good posting tool i just need a way to change the dates.

Thank

H

hi there Harry,
well, as of now the remote api in BO directly publishes any received posts. For next version i can try to extend it as you need it. Just for now i haven't seen that remotely one can specify future date. Can you please tell me any remote blogging programs that have that feature so i can use them while implementing that in BO.

as of now, in BO, if the post is scheduled and you change the time it will affect when it will be published, but when it is already posted, changing the time will only affect next resubmissions date if posts are set to resubmit. So, actually there's no way for you to future the date of posts already published the way you do it.

what comes in my mind as workaround for now, is if you have BA you can make your posts in your remote blogger, copy them from them and put the posts in BA as custom posts and leave it to post them through a scheduled campaign.
