Hi

I've had my host set-up crons exactly as it says in the cronjob tab but the script does not post new entries to blogs, even if I set it to run every 5 or 20 min.

This is what I see in the cronjobs tab
Active Cronjobs List :
No Cronjobs Found

But this is what my hosting said:
I ran both of these cron jobs from the command line, and there was no output
at all. They appear to have run properly. I would recommend that you contact
the script's author regarding this issue.

Thanks

when the cronjobs have been set manually, you won't see them in the Actve Cronjobs List.

to understand if the cronjobs work see your main summary script page for:
Last Crawler Run and Last Poster Run
see if the times displayed there are recent ones, and if cronjobs are set correctly the poster time should change every 5 mins and crawler according to how frequent you set the feeds to be crawled in your settings

that shows the cron files have never worked, even from the command line execution your host support did, so there must be some general problem with the cronjob syntax.

is it sure the php executable path is correct?

also pm me url and pass to your BA to take a look
