Using GS but some are updated ? Weird ?
I even tried it manually. I selected the GS feed which works on some blogs, selected 1 minute for feed crawling and nothing happens.

Again, it's working on some blogs.
Any ideas of what i missed ?
Is there a limit on the number of bogs per feed ?

well, when you set it to new blog even using 1 minute, posts might not appear immediately because of the tasks limit per cronjob run. As you might know in general settings->exec limits, there is limit of the work done by the cronjobs per cronjob execution. So if you have 100 blogs waiting for next minute to be updated, only X number will be updated that minute, next minute again X number and so on. And if you have like 10 blogs stating at update interval to 1 minute, they are overcrawling the queue and new blogs can't get into there to be processed..

Hummmm i still don't see some blogs updated using the same GS feed. Some do get updated and some don't. Same feed used, same setup. I then did a test, i used a sponsor feed instead of the GS one and it did get updated !

Is there a limit of feeds we can trigger with GS or it's BO that has something i need to tweak ?

hm, thats strange.. then it is not the BO tasks limit the problem. Are you sure the GS feed is fine and working for other blogs? Also are you sure this feed haven't been selected for that blog in the past and those entries are posted to the blog and thats why BO doesn't publish them now?

Yeah it's an odd problem as it's a newly created GS feed as it stopped working for all the blogs in the category using the feed (the 1.0 GS problem)
So i then created an exact copy (like you said on another thread) so it starts again and it did, but only for certain blogs.

I'm trying to figure out a logical thing to this but i can't !
So if anyone can help out of thing about a setting i'm missing, that would be damn cool !!!!!
Cheers

Wink

yeah the problem is really weird. I see no logics to happen like that. For sure it is not a setting you are missing or something like that. When it works for other feeds and even for the GS feed sometimes work and not, something else should be affecting it but and i have no idea.

does this happen only on one of your BO installs or on both?

btw if you have BA why don't you use it for rss feeding your blogs?

Ok what i've done is create a new GS feed using the same batch of galleries i have but i added a digit in front of the description to make it look like if it was new/different fhg's

Still, BO doesn't want to update.
Is modifying the description enought to fool BO ? Laughing
Or when he sees that it's got the same urls, it blocks it ?

yes, that should be enough. you don't even need to change titles if thats a new feed. BO skips duplicate titles within same feed only.
