I noticed I was not getting any new post, so manually did the "execute campaign now" button, and the message says it cannot resolve host at "domain name"

I tried to add it again under add new blog, and get the same message.

Seems to have just stopped working for soe reason as I've been using it for a couple of months or so.

Any help appreciated.

your server seem not to be able to resolve domains. Ask your host support to check the dns and probably /etc/resolv.conf

What does it mean "can't resolve". My website is working fine when I pull it up. Other scripts work, too. Only BA does not work.

can't resolve domain
means that the server cannot find the ip that matches that domain, so it can connect to the site properly.

to do a simple test, make tmp.php file with code:
Code:

<? include 'http://www.yourblogs.com/';?>

place the url of the blog which is problemable..

and execute the file via web..

Here is what they are telling me, although I am unclear it relates to the blog automater issue:

"Yes, the url include is disabled on virtual servers. You can include a server path, but not a URL for security reasons, sorry."

i see, well that doesn't matter for us, since we are not using php includes, but we use CURL for the connections. I just gave you include example to see the problem with resolving domains..

ask them to run on the command line of the server:
ping domain.com

and ofcourse replace domain.com with your problemable blog domain..
