| The cron job won't execute. I even logged in as root and checked it. My server is FreeBSD. Any ideas? |

hmm, try executing the cronjob command directly on the ssh command line and see if you will get any error printed.

hi, it worked fine from command line.
First I tried leaving it alone becaase it looked fine in the admin section, but it did not work
Then I tried putting it in /etc/crontab , that did not work
Then I tried though cpanel that did not work. |

hmm, when it works from the command line should work and from the crontab. So when it is left on crontab, the times for crawler and poster on the summary script page don't change?
also can you please check if your cron daemon is up and running. do you have other crons that work?

Hi,
yes other crons work.
what is the "summary script page"?
when I go to mysite.... /ba/index.php?menu=campaigns
It says Next Execution 2008-01-23 11:51 which was 6 hours ago. I have it set to update every 5 minutes for testing purposes. |

when you are at the main script page, in the right summary side, do the times for these change:
Last Crawler Run: 21 June, 2007 at 19:00
Last Poster Run: 20 September, 2007 at 18:42

watch it over for few hours and see what will change..
the crawler should change every hour, and the poster every 5 mins.
if yet problemable, pm me url and pass to your BA admin so i can take a look at..
