Hi Atanasis, I hope you have time for someone who hasn't actually purchased your script yet.

I downloaded and installed the trial version of LO without problems. I have added a site and a trade, but I just can't get the link to display on the page. This is the test page I've added the code to http://www.quantumporn.com/linklist/zzz.htm . I've tried all three code options to no avail (everything is on the same server). This is the template I'm using:

Code:
{tradelinkformat,<a href='{url}' title='{title}'>{anchor}</a><br>}
{trades,1-10}

To my understanding this should display the 10 top links in ranked order. Could you take a look when you have a minute? No rush.

Oh yeah, I haven't yet set up a cronjob, but I wouldn't think that was necessary to get the link to show. Also, what are the limitations of the trial, just so I know when something doesn't work.

Thanks.

hi there, sure i have time for all my users Smile

well first make sure your .htm documents are treated like php ones, so that when you insert the template linking php code to it, it will work.

Second, check the actual template url (the one which is in the php include statement in the linking code) has any trades as output.

that way you will identify if your problem is in the template or trades, or at the output page.

about limitations, the only limitation is max 3 sites with 20 trades.

if you need more help let me know...

I thought I had that domain set up to display php. This is the code I have in my .htaccess file. This is used to display all the regular links on the page. Do I need something in addition?
Code:
#AddType text/x-server-parsed-html .html .htm
AddType text/html .shtml
AddOutputFilter INCLUDES .shtml .html .htm

The actual template URL shows the trade just fine.

well i think you need something like in your htaccess:

AddType application/x-httpd-php .htm
AddType application/x-httpd-php .html

if that doesn't help, create an empty tmp.php page and put in it the LO template linking code and see if it will work.
