So since last week all of my entries are being posted twice. I suspect that it happens because I have the cron jobs set up twice (I asked the host to set them up but I think they might have been set up already). Is this a possible cause or do I need to look elsewhere?

hm, there was a such a problem in the first version of BO, but it was fixed and since then no such duplicating on posts have been reporting, so either it might be from the cronjobs or from your settings.

Make sure you have only 1 set of cronjobs, and also make sure you don't have posts resubmission. If you have the resubmission to some small value like 1,2.. days the post would be resubmitted that soon..

if more problemable let me know..

Thanks for the prompt reply Atanasis - I'm aware of the post resubmission problem and mine is set to 40, so thats not the case. I'll check on my cron jobs.

yes, then check the cronjobs.

also are you talking about all posts for all blogs, or just for 1 blog this happens?

I had this happen at http://wwww.glamourbabesblog.com . I checked the date and time that it was posted and it was the same. It is the only blog that I have seen that has done it so far

this happens pretty rarely, most times it is either there is a dupe in the feed or for some reason the cronjobs got started twice at same time and did same work at once.

If it keeps happening, let me know and i will be looking at it.

Are you sure the problems aren't generated by a wordpress upgrade?

Same thing happened to me (with another autoblogging software) and when I returned to wordpress 2.2 the "bug" got fixed.
