I think maybe my cron jobs aren't working. I've scheduled a few posts and they haven't shown up on time.
This is the active cronjobs list according to the admin panel, however the bocronjobs file appears to be empty:
* * * * * /usr/bin/php -q /var/www/mydomain.com/bo/bocron.php >> /dev/null
* * * * * /usr/bin/php -q /var/www/mydomain.com/bo/borposter.php >> /dev/null
* * * * * /usr/bin/php -q /var/www/mydomain.com/bo/borssfeeder.php >> /dev/null
0 0 * * * /usr/bin/php -q /var/www/mydomain.com/bo/bolinkchecker.php >> /dev/null |

hi there, well if you have added the cronjobs manually in your host panel, BO won't see them in the active cronjobs list, nor they will be in file "bocronjobs". To check whether your cronjobs actually work, refer to "General Settings->System Messages" If you have message there, they should be working..

I haven't added anything manually. The list I posted above is from the BO Admin panel. The System Events panel shows nothing and the boblogs/botemp folder is empty. |

okay, i reviewed the stuff and everything looks properly installed and set up. So the problem wouldn't be from BO. Please contact your host and paste them the cronjobs that BO has set, and ask them why they don't work. Probably there is some issue..

I contacted my host support and now at least the cron for the link checker is working. Apparently some things on their end was not set up right, but the post scheduler still doesn't work. They also had some comments about the way the script installer worked, and I'm PMing their response just in case there's something there of relevance to you (I have to admit a lot of the tech-talk is above me  ).
Anyway, like I told them, I'll give it a full 24 hrs and see what reports the script produces and take it from there. |
