Hi,

I loaded 2,883 sites for automated pinging more than 24 hours ago but only 3 sites showed up as pinged in the events history - 2 yesterday and 1 today. The 2nd one listed for yesterday does not seem to have been pinged at all as the Ping Response Report is totally blank. The 2 others with responses showed that a lot of ping sites were not pinged as there were no responses from a lot of them.

The 1st site pinged showed 10 responses out of 62 ping sites.
The 2nd site pinged showed a blank page for the Ping Response Report.
The 3rd site pinged showed responses from 11 plus 2 showing a 0.

I have 561 proxies entered with the cron job running every minute.

What do I need to do for each site to be pinged right after another and all the ping sites pinged? Then do it all over again the following day and everyday? At the rate it is going it would take several years for all sites to be pinged

Thanks.

hi there, well how you added and scheduled your sites? are they as normal scheduled sites for ping? also at what date you schedule them and whats the interval between them?

Better will be directly to give me url and login to your RP install, so i can take a look and see whats happening..

Thanks!

Hi,

I went to Add Sites in the right-most drop-down menu. I pasted my sites in the box according to the syntax.

I did not do anything on the "Scheduled At:" section based on the the instruction, "Do not touch the scheduling fields if you want to add & schedule the sites for the current time!"

I'll PM you my URL and login.

Thanks.

Hello Atanasis, yesterday I installed the RP and added some of my blogs to Automated Pinging. Today I watched the Events History and it is empty. I think I made something wrong with the Scheduled timestamps, I used the time when I added the blog and there are 1-2 minutes between to the next blog. Do I understand that right, that the Sheduled timestamp is the time when the blog gets pinged the first time?

yes, the scheduled time is the first ping and according to it and the reping interval depend the subsequent pings.

Well, is your cronjob setup and working? Do any scheduled sites get pinged at all?
