Hello Colleagues, I have a problem. Yesterday I installed Blogs Organizer on my server, everything worked well. I created a test blog first but it not appear in my browser. In place of the test blog I get this message:
No Valid License found! Create a file 'bolicense' and put your correct license key in it!
I uploaded the file "bolicense" with my license key already.

I would be very happy if here is somebody who can explain to me what I made wrong in this case and how I can fix it!

Regards,
shogun.

so you installed BO properly, but on your built blogs it requires you license?

You must be doing something wrong, since it never will look for a license at the blogs. What files you have uploaded to your blog? Have you uploaded the ones BO generated for you from "Regular Blogs->Linking codes" or you have uploaded some other files there?

okay, i see you have properly installed BO at http://adultblog-sex.com/bo/
right?

Now, to create a blog no matter where it is located, you DON'T need to upload the BO package again to the blog location.

When you want for example to create blog at http://test.adultblog-sex.com/
for example. Go in "Regular Blogs->Add New" and fill there your blog details.

Then go to "Regular Blogs->Linking Codes" and select your just created blog, and a page with generated linking files will be displayed infront of you. Download those files, best is to click the "download all" link. So you download the .zip containing the files you need to upload to your blog. Unzip the .zip file and upload the files to http://test.adultblog-sex.com/
and then your blog is ready to go. Since then you can start publishing posts to it, and edit its design from the BO admin panel.

Let me know if now it is more clear to you and if you have any more problems.

you have already installed BO, so you don't need the bo.zip you have downloaded from my site. so abstract from that file from now on.

Right now, go to your BO admin panel at http://www.adultblog-sex.com/bo/
Go in "Regular Blogs->Add New" and fill the form there to create a blog at http://test.adultblog-sex.com/, if you haven't done already.
Once you do that or if you have done it already, go to "Regular Blogs->Linking Codes", select the blog and hit submit. A page with linking files instructions will be displayed. Near top of it, there is link "download all files", click on it, and save the zip file provided. Unpack that zip file on your pc, and upload the files to your blog location - the directory for http://test.adultblog-sex.com/

Thats it, hope it is clear enough now..

Thanks!

oh, don't do that. You should not touch anything inside the installation of BO.
never touch manually anything inside the installation dir of BO, ie adultblog-sex.com/bo/

you need to upload the files to your blog location. You want to have a blog at
http://test.adultblog-sex.com/ , right?
go and create that subdomain in your host or whatever you use to create subdomains, go with ftp into the directory for that url, and upload the files from the zip file to it.

I created a subdomain on my host like you told me http://www.test.adultblog-sex.com and uploaded the files in that directory.

how that can work? the blog test.adultblog-sex i created in my Blogs Organizer admin panel has the url: http://www.test.adultblog-sex.com/bo/ and the new subdomain has the url: http://www.test.adultblog-sex.com

i can't reate a subdomain with the ending /bo/ in the url.

the problem is still there. it is more difficult to get that softwaer running than i thought before. i am surprised.

what can i do to get it work? where is the mistake, i made everything like in the description.

well, the software isn't difficult to work with, its actually pretty easy, just you are mistaking the things and confusing somewhere...

Follow me now and you will see.

1) Go in your BO admin panel in "Regular Blogs->Manage" and delete any blogs you created so you start fresh and don't confuse again.

2) Go at "Regular Blogs->Add New" and fill the form to create a blog at url
http://test.adultblog-sex.com/

You don't need to put /bo/ at the end, i don't know why you put it in first place. So just in the Blog URL fill the url i stated, fill the rest of the form and hit ADD button. You are taken to edit page, scroll down below and hit UPDATE button without changing anything.

3) Go to "Regular Blogs->Link Codes", select the just created blog, hit the submit button, and on the page displayed download the zip file with the linking files.

4) unzip the zip file you just downloaded and upload all the files inside to the directory for the http://test.adultblog-sex.com/

(i see there you currently have "bo" directory, so delete it, you don't need it there)

5) after you uploaded the files fire http://test.adultblog-sex.com/ in your browser and see if your blog will show up. If fine, then go in BO admin panel, in "Posts->Add" and click on the "Blog Now" button next to your blog, fill the form to create your first post and then check your blog for it.

If no luck again, you can pm me pass to your BO admin, and ftp details and i will setup the first test blog for you, so you can review how i did the things and learn from them, so you can do it too.
