Hi.
I have a blog with about 20 categories. Created a campaign and thought it'll do smart thing like putting feed with dedicated category to the same name category on the blog. But that's obviously not the case
So I need to create 20 campaigns to feed the correct categories on the blog? If that's the case, is it ok with BA? I mean how much campaigns do people have in BA and not be worried about system resources? Having 30 such blogs would need 600 campaigns...
Thanx |

Well it depends on your needs. If you have a feeds that covers multiple categories then you can multi-select them.
If you have feeds that are for only one category then you'll have to set a campaign to run each.
I'm just learning the software but it's pretty straight forward to me.
BA seems pretty robust and well written. I doubt 600 campaigns will even make it sneeze. I recommend checking the "random" box by the update interval so BA can spread out the updates evenly instead of trying to hit them all at the same time. |

pretty good words
BA can handle lots of campaigns. The whole script and algorithms and mysql queries are made for greatest performance. A campaign execution is made for couple of miliseconds at your server, the couple more miliseconds or seconds are from the tcp connection to the blog itself, but that doesn't take resources. So if you have lots of campaigns and they are randomly set to execute, you will be pretty much fine. _________________ Thanks,
