This looks great! I'm just wondering what the differences/limitations are between the free and paid versions. Because right now, I'm trying out the free version and it won't import any feed entries (even from Yahoo).

the only limitation is the number of blogs you can add to the software, nothing else is limited and should be fully operational.

Hmm, that looks like something is missing on the server. Did you have any notes at the install file or any error while traying to pull the feeds?

No errors at install, all server requirements got an OK. The host is Dreamhost.

For examples, this is what I get when I try to pull entries from the Yahoo top stories feed:

OK (Imported 0 new entries)

I get that for any feed I add.

pretty strange... the only probable reason for that could be curl php library isn't available or not working fine, but could be and something else..

i will need url and pass to your BA admin and ftp access so i can go and debug and see what exactly the problem is. You can pm that to me.

Thanks!

i read another thread here someone else was having the same problem....

i think it has to do with the php binary path.

I use dreamhost, and have several PHP's setup

(and dont know how to find the binary path to ANY of them.)

Looking for some help, this program kicks ass!

the php binary path in Blogs Automater is needed just for the cronjobs, its not of use anywhere else in the script.

If you can't find it, best solution always is to ask your host support the exact path to the command line php executable. And using it, set your cronjobs.

So ask your host support about it and if you have any more problems, let me know..

thanks for the FAST PM's and Posts...

The main problem was that that i was running the newer script when i should have been using the older script.

When i ran the 'test-script' it said everything was ok, and that the new version would work fine, but i kept saying 'Feed imported - 0 Entries Added'.

I said what the hell, just install the old script in another directory and it worked GREAT.

So anyone having problems, try both scripts out =]

I like the full control i have over the feeds/posts/where/how many/etc
