Hey there people,
will couples of you who have reported the small bugs found in 2.0 and requested some of the quick new features, please upgrade to v2.1 and notify me on any problems. I finished the minor update and tested it, and all looks fine, but there is nothing better than couple more people giving it a try!

Refer to this thread:

http://support.cheapestwebsoftware.com/viewtopic.php?t=79

And please notify me here, you upgraded and later, if you find some problems..

Thanks!

I upgraded yesterday, it seemed to fix my problem of the cronjobs crashing.

I did get an error message yesterday but it didnt seem to affect anything visibly. Sorry, I didn't note it at the time and couldn't replicate it again. I'll let you know if I see it again.

Ok, I found the error message again. This was when I changed a link on the sidebar and submitted the change. It didn't seem to affect anything.

Code:
Notice: Undefined variable: g_feeder_sources in /..../.../.../.../bo/index.php on line 1301

(The dots above replace the actual file path)

thats just a noticed for use of undefined variable, its not a critical problem and it doesn't affect anything. The real errors are "Fatal Error:"... the "Notice" and "Warning" are just notes to the developer..

I got this :
Notice: Undefined variable: rank in /home/httpd/vhosts/......./httpdocs/bo/bofunctions.inc.php on line 848

Warning: implode(): Bad arguments. in /home/httpd/vhosts/......../httpdocs/bo/bofunctions.inc.php on line 864

And the rankings are all "0", that is not correct.

Greetings
Vadim

yep, thats normal. You get that when you try to see your blogs ranking in the stats section, right?

Well, to explain this. Google does a blacklisting on ip addresses on its essential sections, like the url which returns the PR, the search url. Thats because anyone can write such an automated proggie and extract data from google, without even visiting their site for life. The blacklisting is done only in a matter to limit you to those sections, it doesn't affect in any way your site listings or etc..with simple words Google denies the access to its back-end areas.

I am still not aware how exactly the stuff works. My own ip is regularly blacklisted and unblacklisted, but i can't seem to catch at what period it sets the blacklisting for, or how many queries and in what period of range is accepted so you don't get blacklisted..

I am also still searching a way to be able to get the PR without being blacklisted at anytime, but still have no luck on that.

Hope all this makes the thing clear to you..

yeah, i took in mind that, and will remove the stuff, so that if even the PR can't be extracted properly, no errors should be displayed..

thanks for reporting
