So, I tried a post in the tinymce editor to a thumblogger blog and this is how it turned out, with all these weird rn etc, and the broken image link looking like this:
img src="templates/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/ibrowser/../../../../../../http://mydomain.com/bo/boimages/t0001_s024_1_500.jpg"
The links are there, but this looks really screwy. It's also now missing an iframe that I inserted that looked fine in the editor before I posted it. Any ideas?

rnI'm a sexy cam slut with some huge tits who likes to give you all the bbw cam sex that you could ever want. My big nipples just ache for you to such them while you're keeping your hands full with my mighty melons. There's nothing I like more than getting lotion all over my tits and then rubbing them LIVE for you to see. Come on over and show my body all the pleasure it deserves. I'd love for you to tell me what to do with my big ass tits, how you'd like this webcam girl on her live feed to do the naughtyest things for you.rn

And when I return to the editor, suddenly it has all the rn's in it also. I hope someone knows what's going on, because I have no idea.
Thanks,

hmm, yes about the "rn" characters couple more people reported and i am trying to find out the problem, but the deal is that i can't duplicate the problem at my install, so i can't find out whats causing it and how to fix it.
Can you tell me how do you write your post? Are you typing it by yourself in the editor? Are you directly pasting it? If pasting from where you copy it?
About the images, just today i found a bug that appeared in the new version and fixed it already. For the fix look at my last post in this thread:

I hand wrote the post within tinymce and then (in firefox), I've also tried pasting from Dreamweaver. All produce the same rn's. It seems to have different effects in different browsers, also. For instance, in explorer, I pasted the frame in HTML, but it doesn't appear and then when I go back to HTML mode all the code for the frame is gone, whereas in firefox I paste the code in and the frame appears in the editor, but is lost when it's posted to the blog. I copied the html to a post through wordpress' interface and post turned out fine. So, I'm guessing something in tinyMCE is screwing with the output. But, that's just a guess.
This is complicated to explain. If you would like I can pm you my login details and see if you can recreate the problem on your end.
The image fix works! Thanks! |

thanks for your explanation.
i just did some research on the topic and found out that tinymce inserts rn and depending on your php they can be treated in different ways.. So i find out the problem and will be fixing it by tomorrow.

okay, i think its fixed now.
Please, download again the upgrade package from the site. Unpack on your pc and upload only these files:
index.php
bofunctions.inc.php
templates/tinymce.php
don't forget the BINARY mode.
Then go and create new post and see if you will get the rn chars again. _________________ Thanks,
