Howdy,
Well I thought the upgrade had gone smoothly, but now I find that all my cron jobs have stopped working. I have my copy of Blog Organizer on Dreamhost and up til now it's been fine - I even tried adding the crons manually but so far no go, nothing happens.
Are there any known conflicts on dreamhost? Anything else I should be checking?
Thanks for any help - Bizzie |

hm, so you don't have anything in "General Settings->System Events" now?
The upgrader does not touch the cronjobs, so i suppose something else could caused the problem.
Are you sure you upgraded properly? Can you please run from your browser for example http://www.yoursite.com/bo/bocron.php
and then go to the system events and see if something got recorded there. If nothing doesn't recorded, then problem could be in cronjob files.. and you might need to upload them again in BINARY mode.
If all looks fine, but still problemable, pm me url and pass to your BO admin. _________________ Thanks,

When I check in General settings - System Events, it only shows 10 lines - the top five are constantly changing the date and time (like every time I reload) but nothing ever gets done.
I re-re-reuploaded all the cron files in binary mode but no dice. I followed the directions for upgrading with the fervor of a religious fanatic, including using binary mode, removing things from the template directory etc - I'm not ruling out the possibility that I screwed up BUT I'm pretty sure I didn't.
I also tried running bocron.php from the browser - and when I did system events got shuffled so it at least looks like something happened - but no posts got made anywhere. I made two new remote wordpress blogs just to be sure and asked for hourly updates from 20 or 30 feeds and nothing has been posted to either of them or anywhere else since yesterday.
I will send you the PM. Hopefully I am just missing something, I'd hate to have to pick up and move it all now LOL.
Thanks - Bizzie |
