I'm having trouble with "import posts" under "remote blogs."
I assume I can enter:
delimiter: ,
posts: test title 1, test body 1
test title 2, test body 2
test title 3, test body 3
here I see:
(Fields: _Title_, _Post Body_, Post Category, Post Keywords, Post Schedule Date
Underlined fiels are required!
select my category, do "add immediately," resubmit "yes" (shouldn't really matter, right?) and hit analyze.
What confuses me is that when i do so, I get:
"mass import posts"
and a screen with mapping of fields, I assume. When i get this screen, I choose:
"test title 1" -> "title"
"test body 1" -> "post body"
BUT when I hit "add," I get:
Added Successfully!
even though there's nothing added to my blogs.
AND I also see:
Fields: _Title_, Post Page Title, Post Keywords, _Post Body_, Post Schedule Date
Underlined fiels are required!
on the resulting empty form -- the positioning of the fields seem to have switched around!
Please help. Is this functionality broken? Or am I doing something wrong here?
thanks--
dennis! |

hi there, just tested it to verify its working and its working normally. Maybe you do something wrong somewhere..
For example i did like:
Delimiter: ,
in Posts i entered:
title1,body1
title2,body2
In "Add to" i selected some of my remote blogs, then at "Add At" i selected Immediately. I hit the analyze button and i got at the new screen in which i choose that "title1" refers to Title and "body2" refers to body of the post. then i hit import and my 2 posts got imported.
Maybe you are missing to enter the fields delimiter as in my case its comma.
Let me know if you still have problems _________________ Thanks,

thanks for your help -- it confirmed that I was going through the right steps. It turns out my postings did go through -- maybe it was a cron hiccup or something. |
