I tried to post this to the thread referenced but it's admin only.
My scheduler breaks down daily. It only takes a minute to delete the txt files and it starts up again, but would oviously be better if I didnt have to do that every day. I realise this is a problem that lies with my server rather than the script.
Is there a more detailed explanation of why this happens that maybe I can pass on to my hosting company for them to look into? |

Yes, the other forum is read only, because if we start posting there, people would get lost with the necessary valuable info from the help thread itself.
blah, to happen daily is really a bad thing. Which cronjob gets braked daily? All of them or just a specific one.
Anyways, in the v2.1 i just released, i added some smart mechanism to get the stucked cronjobs running again within 10 mins..
Let me know.. _________________ Thanks,

There are 3 txt files that show up daily. I've deleted them for today so not 100% sure which ones they are. I'll let you know tomorrow |

then, it looks like all cronjobs are failing..
Well, i can't tell the exact problem, since it looks like a server based.
To investigate the problem, why the cronjobs are dying and not completing properly, you might wanna look at your apache, mysql error logs for any errors saved for files: bocron.php, borssfeeder.php and borposter.php

Well, I upgraded to 2.1 yesterday and no overnight crash of the cron jobs. I'll let you know if it does crash again. |
