i am new to the whole blogging game,
but from what i see now, there are a few things missing in BO which i didnt found so far. so is this possible with the right token, or currently just not possible with BO
- having categories in the blog
- having a archive (calendar style, whatever)
also i would like to know if it is possible to have a new blog look old, LOL well i mean to back dating posts, so that a pretty new blog looks content richer with archives? |

since support is on vacation, i'll try to help out with your questions.
categories are scheduled for the next release of bo.
and from your other post i see you figured out the archive (calendar) feature.
and yes, you can changed the post date by simply editing the post and changing the date. however, if you want to make a new blog look old with lots of old posts you might want to use the mass import feature and remember to include the post dates. |

well just another calendar style
categories you already mentioned 
a search option?
uhmmm, isnt there a feature list, change log so far? or i better should be just patience |

Oil,
well BO is mainly made for webmasters making money and more easily. I am always expanding the software, and on each update i am doing, highest priority are the features and options that provide mass blogging and that are most valueable to webmasters to make blogs more easily and make more money easily with less work. I am expanding the software in that point, and ofcourse little by little adding rest features that most blogger needs.
So, archives are availble through calendar and "Next Page" links.
Categories in blogs, are not yet available and they should appear in the upcoming v3.0 version.
Search option, is still under consideration, because of the multidomain nature of the software and just certain things require more time to be thought and made so that they work efficient across all domains you operate with the single software.

yep i think its most crucial the way which BO works is to handle things easy with using less resources, and just working fast
i am really impressed by how easy it is with BO setting up a blog in almost no time, for a absolute blog noob like me |
