If we select to resubmit the post every 60days

1) Will the post will show up again on the main page and every 60 days ?

2) Will the old feed (resubmitted) bump the new ones or the ones scheduled ?
ex: A new feed created by GS that is suppose to appear today, will it be replaced by the old one that is 60days old ?

3) Should we use this feature ? What is the point of this feature

Cause in a way, i will never get fresh content to my blog as old posts will start to bump back every 60 days ?

Anyways, if you could explain it in here it could also help others
Thanks

1) Yes, the post will show up again after 60 days on the main page.

2) Well, if you feed your BO blogs with GS feeds, and you want your post re-appear at your blog after X amount of days, you should either have the resubmission enabled at BO or GS. If you have it at both scripts, then your posts will start duplicating, so you need it just in BO or GS.

3) The need of the resubmission is because people might not always have fresh unique content for their blogs, and resubmitting does a pretty good work in that case, both for SEs and for surfers.

Let me know if you have more questions..

I have a question on this, one of my blogs was dormant, so I changed the number of days to resubmit posts - and ended up with 20 posts all being resubmitted on the same day - is this supposed to happen (I thought it would resubmit 1 post at a time, and not resubmit all posts at once after a period?) or is this because I changed the number?

well, that won't happen regularly, but it probably happened becuase any of these:

1) the posts were posted at one day in the past, so they are resubmitted on same day..

2) when you changed the resubmit posts number, all the posts were too old, so when you set to resubmit after 30 days for example, all the posts are older already than 30 days, so they got resubmitted..
