From this dropdown menu you manipulate your proxies. These are the public proxy servers used to deliver the pings through. Proxy can be any type of proxy that accepts HTTP requests. You can get proxies from couple of proxy sites list around the web. Proxies are used to hide your real IP when pinging, so the ping services won't consider you as spammer and get you blacklisted.
Proxies are not required for pinging! You can use Rocket Pinger and make your pings without proxies!
Add Proxies From here you add new Proxy to the system. You just enter its address(IP or hostname) and port number.
Manage Proxies From here You operate Your existing database with Proxies. You can edit/delete them.
Rocket Pinger has internal smart proxy checker mechanism, which determines whether a proxy is working and can be used for pinging. Rocket Pinger automatically pick at random a proxy from the proxy database when the ping should be delivered via proxy. Rocket Pinger deletes from the database each proxy that is not working. So you need regularly to input proxies into the database, to make sure Rocket Pinger will have anough proxies to ping through
If there is not even a single proxy working in the database, Rocket Pinger will deliver the ping without proxy!
