Hi,

Generally BO is working like clockwork with GS, but I was just checking the blog posts to make sure everything working, and noticed that some posts, the thumbs are missing, with just a broken image holder. If I right click on the missing thumb, it's properties show up something like:

http://urlofblog/blog/%7BPIC_150x200%7D

but there is not a picture. Normally it would be in the format:

http://Where-script-is-run-from/scraper/thumbs/feed5/151/gets-fuckslut-463af618.jpg

On one new feed/blog it is doing this with every post, but it is also doing it on some that have been working fine up until now yet I have changed nothing. Yet most feeds/posts are still working OK. Seems to be a difference that one is referring the blog url and the other is referring where the GS script is run from for the URL of the images.

Is this something happening when the feed is generated from GS or with BO, I was guessing it might be if the gallery was inaccesible when the feed was generated?

Is there anything to be done to "regenerate" the image without going in and manually editing posts where the thumbs are missing? Or what else could be causing this?

many thanks

PS, there are particular problems with Solar Cash galleries - eg http://none-nude-babes.the-dirty-blogger.com/ - no thumbs have generated so far from them don't know if that is helpful...)

hi there, well the problem is from the GS feed, not in Blogs Organizer. If for some reason GS can't extract thumbnail from the gallery it happens like that. Generally this is caused, if the gallery is from a weird type, where the script can't locate properly the images and create a thumb from them. So every time you create a new feed in GS, be sure to check the first couple of entries it makes, if all is fine, then the galleries are okay, if not, don't use those galleries. I am always improving the automated thumbnailer, but there always popup types of galleries that can't be autothumbnailed..

Thanks - I know what the problem was on the Solar Cash galleries, as when I exported the galleries I had them by mistake in the format to link to main picture on html pages...

I guess if the gallery server is down at the time the feed is created the same thing would happen.

Not to worry - useful to learn this, thanks for your prompt help Very Happy

i am glad you found the problem.

yes, if the gallery server is down, the same thing will happen. I am working on more advanced functions in the script, so if something, no matter what goes wrong during the build of a new entry, it won't be included in the feed..
Should be available as of next version..
