I was trying to update a blog with an rss feed but it didn't worked so I looked at my cronjobs and I saw that they dissapeared from the Active Cronjobs List and my system events are not updating too.

So what do I need to do?

Thanks for your help.

thats strange..cronjobs can't disappear by themselves..

anyways, just go to general settings->cronjobs and copy the 4 cronjob syntaxes from there and add the cronjobs manually at your hosting control panel or ask your host support to do that for you.

Thanks!

Well looks like I'm still having problems. My cronjobs are working fine but now I need to click "Regen" everyday for my blogs to update with scheduled post.

Can someone help me fix this please.

Thanks!

stoked to see this post.. but sorry bout yer troubles.. I have the same problem..

this all comes after.

1. db goes bad after install running only a few days
restored with new db started over..

2. working fine for a month or so.. db has more errors.. suddenly no new posts.. then db was restored with new index in table, working ok, but not updating blog with posts being pulled in.. no cron reported in bo cronjob page.. but fine in server said tech support

what do I do to get it to regen automatically now?

I can't find the PM Atanasis sent me but I think I had to install the last upgrade package and it works fine now.

But to be sure just PM Atanasis about your problem and he will help you.

Cheers

hey there Adam, well, the problem was with the very fist 2.5 version, but since you have it running about a month okay and regenerating and putting new posts fine, i doubt its from that. Are your cronjobs ok?

Let me know on the situation.

hmmm maybe I still have the bad 2.5 ver? wouldn't it be 2.6 then?
don't know which is which.. how can I know? other than the fact my blog isn't updating.. yes, tech support said that all cronjobs are still intact, but since disappeared from bo admin cronjob list..

its not rebuilding the blog anymore.. seems to pull in posts just fine, but without the rebuild, it doesn't display them until I do it manually.

what next?

well, i didn't made it to 2.6 or higher, since it was small fix that appeared in the new 2.5 version and its not affecting all users.

When your cronjobs disappeared from the BO admin panel, it means your host support must have moved them, and probably now they run with another system user and thats causing permissions problems, since you can rebuild your blogs through the admin fine..

Best will be to pm me url and pass to your BO, so i can see the exact situation.
