I just got this email from support...
"We've located the reason that the system you're hosted on keeps going unresponsive. It appears that in your .htaccess for adamsgoe.com you have the following line:
RewriteRule sitemap.php bositemap.php
That line causes an infiniteloop, since 'bositemap.php' matches 'sitemap.php', it will rewrite itself forever and take the machine down. Remember that RewriteRules use regex, so if you don't include start and end markers it will just match anywhere in the string.
We've commented this line out to stop the webserver from going unresponsive, this is just a notification of the modification.
GP Support"
Seems some mods are in order.. no? |

hum, your host support words have point..i forgot about that, but it can happen on rare cases, depending how the server is setup. In most cases it should work normally, look for example here:
http://www.xtremethumbs.com/anal-hardcore-action/sitemap.php
Anyways i will make the necessary mods to the linking codes to remove totally the problem. Can you just please pass this line to your host support to approve it will be non-problemable and let me know what their answer is.
RewriteRule ^sitemap.php$ bositemap.php
Appreciate your feedback locating possible problem..
Thanks! _________________ Thanks,

their reply was...
You can tell him that I approve the line. By adding the ^ and $ to the regular expression, it should only match "sitemap.php" and not any file that happens to have "sitemap.php" in it. |

fix released!
To get your stuff fixed, just grab the upgrader package from the owners lounge, unpack, and replace only file "bofunctions.inc.php". Don't forget to upload in BINARY mode. After that your ".htaccess" linking files for your blogs will be generated with the necessary new stuff, so they will be safe. So you can just go and replace them on your blog locations. _________________ Thanks,
