Hi,
I have been using Rocketpinger just fine for many months but today I ran into a problem when I tried to use it.
When going to my normal rp folder to start it, I get:
"Could not connect to MySQL Server: Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client"
I have double checked that MySQL is running fine on the server. I have other apps on the server that are using MySQL with no problems. I even restarted mysql just to be sure. But still the same error.
I also tried to upgrade and run the rp-upgrade.php but again, the same error as above. Any ideas?

hi there, well that is probably caused because your mysql has been upgraded to new version and support for old passwords has been disabled. Ask your host support to enable Old passwords style in the mysql config.
