What with Link Organizer, Rocket Pinger and Blog Organizer working on over 200 blogs, my MySQL memory is slowing down my system (so I'm told). Can I change the cron settings for LO from every hour to once every 24 hours?

Well, the cronjobs aren't the big problems. They run and check if they need to to anything with simple mysql query and if there isn't anything to do, they just die immediately.

If you set the cronjob for LO to 24 hours, your templates won't regenerate each hour if you use that option

Do you have caching enabled in mysql? There are also lots of other things to finetune your server.

Download and use this mysql tuner script, it is really helpful:
