it looks like I've the same problem already posted here:
http: // support . cheapestwebsoftware . com /viewtopic.php?t=675&highlight=checklicense
I was running 1.0. 
I've upgraded to 3.4.2 stable following the info.
now I see the following error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: check_license() in /path-to-my-website/bo/index.php on line 7
I will PM you access data to my server... Please have a look into this.

hi there, well you did the worst thing. You have downloaded the full install package and overwritten your config files and stuff. Glad you have not run the installer file, coz you would have reset your installation to zero.
I think i fixed the things. Go and see if all is fine...
