Hi, I am trying to change the blog template but am having trouble..... I'm getting this error:

Error creating feed file, please check write permissions

I've tried changing permissions but to no avail... maybe I'm not changing them on the right ones?

hi there, well thats a problem that the blog regeneration returns, doesn't refer exactly to the template changing.

Look if these folders are chmod to 777
/bo/bofeeds/
/bo/bocategories/

hmm, are all the files inside 777 or 666?

regenerate one other blog and see if you get same problem.
Also see which number is the problemable blog and check
the perms of file /bofeeds/blog#.xml

Thanks, when I go to the feeds and try to pull up the blog I'm working on.... I get a "feed code error"..... But if I make a new blog, it is fine. I switched hosts and this is where I started having problems... they wouldn't allow php includes, I have to use curl. So to anyone else, I would recommend checking with your host to see if they allow them. At this point I think it would be easier to just re-create them than trying to figure it out... I have a total of about 70 before the problems started. Is there anything I could do when I re-create them to be sure it does get me messed up as far as the search engines go?

yeah, thats exactly the thing.. things went wrong when you moved hosts and now the already built blog files are not 777 or 666

just go to each of these folders and chmod all files inside to 666:
boblogs, boposts, bomaps, bofeeds

in folder: bocategories
you need to chmod to 777 all folders inside, and inside the folders all files to 666

if no luck after that, pm me url and pass to your BO admin and ftp access to there and i will be looking at it..
