I created a blog, downloaded the linking code, unzipped all the php files, then uploaded it under the domain name in the public html folder. But When I try to view the site, it said: To change this page, upload your website into the public_html directory. I have already done that, don't know what the problem is. Please explain. Thanks.

That sounds like a default new domain page display (index.html on most Apache servers). FTP into your public_html directory folder and rename index.html to index.html.bak and you should be good to go.

Rhino

There's a note about adding a server instruction to your root htaccess to read html files for PHP instructions, but with a new domain it's probably faster to rename/delete the default index page.

OK, two things to check now...

IIRC BO doesn't create the blog's record set until the first post, so make sure your cron is running and you have a RSS feed assigned to the blog (or have made a manual post), and the blog record shows at least one post. If it shows the blog record with all zeros for the last post date time stamp, and a green background in Regular Blogs>>Manage check your cron.

Other thing is how your server is set up to handle PHP

By default Blogs Organizer uses regular PHP includes to call remote files... If BO shows at least 1 post and you're still seeing a blank index.php in your browser, then it sounds like you might need to switch your BO script to use CURL.

In the BO admin under General Settings>>CURL Settings, change BO to use CURL:Yes then grab a new set of blog scripts and reload them to your public_html folder.

Hi, Rhino and Atanasis, my server support said the Remote URL Includes were not enabled in PHP. They enabled for me this time. So now the site works perfectly. How do I do this by myself in the future? Please let me know. Thanks.

hi there, you can't enable the remote php includes by yourself, since you have no such priviledges if you aren't on dedicated. When they enabled them now, all is fine, so just start building blogs Smile
